hey, me again

Funny how when you have tons of free time, you have no desire to complete the few easy tasks you do have, work towards your goals, or pursue any endeavors wihout being prompted. However, when you are overloaded with school, amateur journalism, and college life in general, you experience bouts of inspiration that leave you craving to read books and articles that have not been assigned to you, stay up-to-date on fashion, write in your blog (ahem), et cetera, et cetera.

This is my round-about-way of acknowledging that I have been rather unproductive this summer and will probably regret it later when I am busy again. Maybe I do work well under pressure. I can’t be in a state of half-work and half-leisure, so it was rather difficult for me to do some things I set out to do, like work on my short story, for instance. The story is in the works but I have not devoted nearly as much time to it by now as I would have hoped.

Well, now school has started, which means that I will be tumbling more often. I guess when I have school, I spend a lot of time on the computer and it’s easy to quickly check google reader/tumblr/facebook. I hope this will mean that my little blog will return to it’s former glory.
